If you are reading this then you might be considering studying A level art at King Edward VI College.What do we teach?
Eduqas Fine Art SpecificationHow do we teach it?
1st year - developing your study skills in the form of a Personal Creative Inquiry.2nd year - during the summer and through until Christmas you will work towards a Personal Investigation (60% of your A level art assessment)
After Christmas in your second year you will work towards a Controlled Assignment (40% of your A level art assessment)

The good news?
A level art is completed by mid-May of your second year, giving you more freedom to focus on revising for other subjects.The even better news?
If you follow our guidance and work hard you are highly likely to achieve a positive outcome :- You will be encouraged to continue developing your creativity every day
- You will be coached in how to become more independent
- You will have the opportunity to progress to higher education with more confidence and with enhanced skills
- You could opt to stay at college for a third year to study on our Art Foundation programme
